The pallet of extra parts will be available for collection from Manheim Hobart (1200X800X450). history as advised by vendor: this little unit is linked to Tasmania’s iconic 3 Capes Track and to the International Nuclear Test Ban Treaty! This machine was purchased in 2016 as an ex Cat Rental Machine for a one off project in Antarctica. As a Cat Rental machine, it spent its early life on hire with Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife, being flown into remote locations on the Tasman Peninsula to build the tracks and camp infrastructure of the 3 Capes Walk. Australian Antarctic Division purchased it with 500hrs on the clock and prepared it for service in Antarctica for a summer project at Davis, to be again flown out to a remote site to install infrastructure to monitor nuclear explosions in the atmosphere as part of the “Infrasound Project”.
